Qld: Baby girl to survive burns

A five-week-old baby girl will pull through after she was scalded at home in Queensland's
southeast.

The child was burnt with hot water at a property at Ravensbourne .. northeast of Toowoomba
.. this morning and flown to the Royal Children's Hospital in Brisbane.

A spokesman for the hospital says the burns are not as bad as previously thought.

The child has burns to 10 per cent of her body and the hospital says she'll pull thorough.
