M. - DIGITAL BOOKMOBILE
Want to learn more about Wake County's Downloadable Media Library? Visit the Digital Bookmobile on Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at Eva Perry Regional Library, 2100 Shepherd's Vineyard Drive, Apex, and on Thursday, November 4, 2010, at West Regional Library, 4000 Louis Stephen's Drive, Cary. Patrons will learn how to download popular audiobooks and eBooks directly to their home computer.
The Digital Bookmobile is housed inside an 18-wheel tractor-trailer. This 74-foot community outreach vehicle is a high-tech update of the traditional bookmobile that has served communities for decades. The vehicle is equipped with broadband Internet-connected PCs, high definition monitors, premium sound systems and a variety of portable media players, all of which help visitors explore Wake County Public Library's downloadable media service. Interactive learning stations give visitors an opportunity to search the library's digital media collection, use supported mobile devices, and sample downloadable eBooks and audiobooks.

M. - HOLIDAY CARD WORKSHOP

M. - AMERICAN RED CROSS BABYSITTING CLASS
Kids 11-15 years of age are invited to attend a babysitting workshop at North Regional Library. Attendees receive valuable information and an American Red Cross certificate upon completion.
